This is a silent film with live piano accompanient. A classic Buster Keaton comedy about Union spies who steal engineer Johnnie Gray's beloved locomotive, 'The General'—with Johnnie's lady love aboard!
Pianist Jordan Klapman is back and will provide a brief summary of the importance of live music in early silent films before performing an improvised and jaunty soundtrack to this famed film. You won't want to miss this rare and intimate performance. Tickets are $40, or $70 for both screenings, (The General is preceded by a screening of Gold Rush starring Charlie Chaplin at 5pm!)
